Lifeguard

We are looking for friendly and passionate Lifeguards to supervise patrons directly on the inflatable waterpark. Must be a team player. We work with our staff to ensure a flexible schedule and competitive wages. Our main priority is to ensure a safe and fun environment for all our staff. We have part-time and full-time options to choose from.

Hoopla Island is committed to providing all patrons with an energetic, family-oriented, and fun-filled experience by promoting physical activity in the outdoors, with safety as our top priority. All applicants will be responsible to maintain this image while performing their lifeguarding duties.

Responsibilities:
- supervise patrons directly on the floating waterpark
- properly fit patrons with appropriate lifejackets
- educate and enforce patrons on safety rules and regulations
- maintain a clean and professional appearance
- assist in daily maintenance tasks of set-up, take-down, and cleaning duties
- may be required to supervise structures during closures due to bad weather

Qualifications and Skills:
- National Lifeguard Service Certification (NLSC) or equivalent
- Bronze Cross Certification for an assistant Lifeguard position
