Flooring Warehouse Labourer

Position Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Flooring Warehouse Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to keep our warehouse organized and efficient, ensuring that all products are stocked and readily available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the unloading and loading of incoming and outgoing inventory
• Receive and process deliveries
• Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse
• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy
• Help to fulfill customer orders
• Operate machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy products
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 drivers license
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
• Knowledge of flooring products and materials is a plus
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects - upwards of 60 lbs
• Must be comfortable operating machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Team player, excellent oral communication, dependable, reliable, adaptable, hardworking, positive attitude, quick learner
