Heavenly Care Agency is seeking compassionate individuals in Morris and Altona areas to join our team as Male Home / Personal Support Workers. In this role, you will provide invaluable one-on-one care to our clients, assisting with personal needs, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Support clients in achieving their individual goals outlined in their support plans.
• Engage clients in leisure activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain the health, safety, and independence of clients at all times.
• Attend to the social and emotional needs of clients with empathy and understanding.
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily care activities, including incident reports and medication administration.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical fitness and ability to perform lifting tasks when necessary.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to uphold high standards under pressure.
• Availability for both part-time and full-time employment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to collaborate effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Adherence to standard policies and procedures for a safe work environment.
• Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License and clear criminal record check.
• Healthcare aide certificate (an asset).
