To meet the growing demand for our product we’re currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer who, as a member of the senior leadership team, will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities and strategies for Elmer’s and its affiliated companies. You will use your strong breadth of operational experience in a manufacturing environment as it relates to financial systems, accounting, financial forecasting, treasury management, taxation, risk management and corporate development to provide vision and strategic direction to continue the profitable growth of the company.

In This Role You Will:
• Develop and execute financial planning strategies to meet the company's short-term and long-term financial goals. This involves analyzing financial data, forecasting future financial performance, and providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior leadership.
• Develop efficient systems and tools to proactively coordinate accurate and timely financial reporting, including key financial and operational metrics, developing a sound understanding of overall business operations.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing effective internal controls, financial policies, and procedures. Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.
• Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to optimize the cost of capital and support business growth initiatives. Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures to maximize shareholder value.
• Lead the annual operating budget process and rolling monthly forecasting activities to allocate resources efficiently and achieve financial targets. Monitor variances between actual and budgeted performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Work with the CEO to develop long-term financial plans, including capacity plans, capital needs and business acquisition strategies.
• Maintain optimal cash flow levels to support daily operations, investment activities, and debt service obligations. Develop weekly cash flow forecasts and liquidity management strategies to ensure the company's financial stability and solvency.
• Develop tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. Work closely with external advisors and government authorities to address tax-related issues and opportunities.
• Evaluate and implement efficient, effective processes and supporting systems to streamline financial processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance decision-making capabilities.
• Serve as a primary liaison with the CEO, auditors, and financial institutions to communicate the company's financial performance, strategies, and objectives.

We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 12 years of experience in financial management roles, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
• Previous experience working at a multi-million-dollar revenue manufacturing company is required.
• CPA designated.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen to interpret complex financial data, assess financial performance, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
• Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, drive change initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Strategic thinking and vision to align financial goals with broader business objectives, anticipate market trends, and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey financial information, influence decision-making, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• High ethical standards and integrity to uphold fiduciary responsibilities, maintain financial transparency, and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Solid experience using various financial tools and systems including ERP software and advanced Excel features (Pivot tables, Vlookups).
