Housekeeping Aide / Aide-ménager.ère (SS-24-249)

BILINGUAL POSITION
Under the direction of the Manager - Environmental Services, the Housekeeping Aide maintains assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe and orderly manner to ensure that the highest degree of cleanliness. The incumbent also performs routine housekeeping tasks in all areas of the facility with the primary duties being general cleaning.

The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.

Description / Responsabilités
Sous la direction du Gestionnaire - Services environnementaux, l’Aide-ménager ou l’Aide-ménagère est responsable du nettoyage et du maintien de la propreté de l'établissement. Le ou la titulaire effectue les fonctions principales de nettoyage général ainsi que toutes les autres tâches connexes.

Le ou la titulaire du poste bénéficie d’un niveau d’initiative approprié et fait preuve d’un jugement indépendant pour déterminer les priorités de travail, les méthodes de travail à utiliser et les mesures à adopter pour traiter les questions inhabituelles. Les fonctions du poste sont exercées d’une manière conforme à la vision, à la mission, aux valeurs et aux politiques de Southern Health-Santé Sud.
