Seamstress Kit Coordinator

Country Stitched Inc. is a fast growing, locally owned company that uses handmade production techniques to manufacture high quality, luxurious minky products. Products are manufactured in Morris, Manitoba and shipped to customers around the world. We are adding a Full-Time Seamstress Kit Coordinator to our Production team to meet our growing product demand.

Working with our Seamstress Kit Coordinator team, you will be responsible for the successful and timely completion of our Seamstress Kits. Seamstress Kits contain all the materials required for the Seamstress to complete their weekly projects. This position works in coordination with our Production Team and reports to our Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate will have an upbeat, positive, can-do attitude and thrives working in collaboration with their colleagues. This position requires someone with strong problem solving skills, is highly organized, detail orientated and takes pride in their work. Strong inter-personal skills and customer service skills when communicating with our external stakeholders is necessary for success in this position.

This is an hourly paid, full-time, permanent position consisting of approximately 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.

- Plan and coordinate fabric needs with colleagues
- Update inventory data tracking on a regular basis
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Pair fabrics in coordinating and pleasing color schemes
- Gather, organize, count, and pack materials required for each Seamstress' Kit
- Fill out Seamstress Work Orders
- Transport Seamstress Kits to receiving area
- Other duties as assigned

- Strong work ethic with the ability to complete tasks correctly and efficiently; good time management skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Must be reliable, resourceful, and a team player
- Strong problem solving skills and detail orientated; an eye for design and color coordinating including current trends in fashion and home decor
- Experienced using email communication and spreadsheets
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must be able to stand for duration of shift
- Willing to learn new methods and able to adapt to change easily and confidently
- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism
- Ability to read fine print
- Ability to lift 50lbs
