Lumber Yard Picker

Here we grow again!

We are looking for motivated, hardworking individuals to join our Yard Customer Service team.

Note: This position is located in the town of Niverville, MB - 20 mins south of Winnipeg.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading of trucks and filling orders that contain building material products
• Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of product within the yard / warehouse
• General yard and warehouse upkeep and maintenance

Requirements:

• Forklift experience
• Class 5 drivers License
• Experience in moving class 1/3 Vehicles in the yard
• Must be physically able to life upwards of 100 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Team player, excellent oral communication, dependable, reliable, adaptable, hardworking, positive attitude, quick learner
• Capacity to work in harsh outdoor conditions for long periods (hot, cold, snow, rain etc.)
• Building material experience would be considered an asset

About Us

Wm. Dyck & Sons is a family owned business that was founded in the early 1950’s by William W. Dyck and is currently owned by Carl Fast, grandson of Mr. Wm. Dyck. The company continues to grow, and in 2015, opened a 9000 sqft Flooring Centre on the same property as their retail store and Cabinet Centre. They have also added a distribution center just outside of Niverville to handle all building material deliveries. The business serves customers in communities around Niverville, across Manitoba and into Ontario.
