Estimator

We are looking for a detail oriented Estimator with good time management skills to join our team of professionals!

Responsibilities:

• Produce take-offs from building plans provided by the Drafting Department and direct from our customers
• Evaluate current take-off software programs, recommend and implement agreed upon changes and maintain, modify and enhance programs when needed
• Update and maintain related software program
• Add and enhance data included in the take-off software programs
• Complete all building material take-offs that comply with company policies in a timely manner
• Provide take-off material documentation/quotes for customer presentations in a timely manner
• Assist (when requested) in customer presentations of take-off data
• Maintain the take-off specifications in formats used by sales personnel
• Train sales team members in take-off system
• Assist sales team with blueprint reading and construction procedures (when requested)
• Periodically review actual use of materials at jobsites vs quoted - in order to ensure accuracy of program
• Provide a log of all take-offs performed during the month to Manager
• Develop and maintain a synergistic relationship with sales team

Requirements:

• Personal organization and time management
• Minimum 1-year experience in preparing building material estimates/quotes
• Adherence to company policies
