Grocery Department Manager (Ste. Anne)

Welcome to Clearview Co-op! We are currently hiring a Grocery Department Manager to serve our members and customers at our Ste. Anne Food Store!

What you’ll do:
The Grocery Department Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks and may be involved in the planning for the direction of their department. Some of the main duties will include:

• Live our brand, “You’re at Home Here” by presenting a positive, collaborative, and professional image of the organization to all customers, visitors, suppliers, and team members.
• Exemplify our company values: People, Integrity, Excellence, and Responsibility.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of the Grocery department in consultation with the Store Manager.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to and required standards are met.
• Maintain adequate stock through efficient inventory management.
• Increase sales, expand markets, and promote business to meet goals within the provided guidelines.
• Provide effective leadership to the Grocery employees to ensure the department is operated under legal, safe, and ethical standards.
• Responsible for overall staffing and motivation of the Grocery team.
• Frequently move items up to 55 lbs. at the site for various needs.
• Oversees the activities of the Store to ensure effective operations and provides feedback to team members as required through training, coaching, or providing corrective measures to meet objectives.
• May provide operational oversight in absence of the Store Manager.
