We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our growing team.

As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will work closely with all aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process in manufacturing along with using your skillsets in a variety of Human Resource functions. In this role you will actively engage with candidates, hiring leaders, community partners and third-party recruitment vendors. You will then assist new hires through their onboarding experience and support their career path journey at Loewen.

In this role you will:
• Support the full cycle recruitment efforts for manufacturing roles including posting jobs, applicant management, interviews, references, and pre-employment testing. May also support technical and office roles as required.
• Assist with internal recruitment and career pathing through job postings, discussions with employees and coordinating transfers and promotions with leaders.
• New hire onboarding preparation and facilitating orientation, new hire support, benefit meetings and training.
• Utilize Loewen’s UKG HRIS system for recruitment, onboarding and candidate profile administration, along with online recruitment platforms like Indeed.
• Increase candidate pipeline by researching and networking with schools, associations, community partners, immigration strategies, advertising opportunities and planning company recruitment events.
• Analyze recruitment strategies to retention trends through various HR metrics.
• Partner with other HR members in maintaining daily HRIS administration, employee records management, data integrity checks, research possible system improvements and troubleshooting, be a resource to users and assist with companywide system updates.

You will bring:
• Completed or currently enrolled in post-secondary education in the field of Human Resources.
• Experience with recruitment in a manufacturing setting considered an asset.
• Prior experience in HRIS maintenance, and data analytics is preferred. UKG or similar systems experience is preferred.
• Able to use Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Committed to continuous improvement and professional development.
• Effective in establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Proven communication skills both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic.
• Comfortable with public speaking, networking, facilitating training and presentations.
