Electrician - Assembly Department

Cross Country is a leading Canadian Manufacturer in the aggregate and transportation industry and is currently seeking full-time Outfitters to join our Assembly team. No weekends or shift rotation required. Day Shift is 7am – 3:30pm.

Each Outfitter has an important role that contributes to the completion of a Cross Country trailer. They have the opportunity to work with a team to install components required for our trailers to run efficiently. Some of which include electrical, plumbing, tarp installations, tire mounting and applying decals to finalize each trailer.

Assembly Skill Sets & Requirements:
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be legally able to work in Canada
• Previous electrical experience is an asset but we are willing to train.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be physically fit to stand for 8 hours minimum daily
• Must be physically fit to lift at least 50 lbs
• High attention to detail
• Able to operate basic hand tools
• Must be able to read/write/speak English
• Knowledge of fractions, and decimals and ability to read a measuring tape
• Able to follow schematics for assembly instructions
