Heavenly Care Agency is looking for HOME / PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER
With the following duties and responsibilities describe as follows.
• Working with patients/ clients and providing one-on-one care such as assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Ensuring the fulfillment of individual goals and needs as instructed in the client’s support plans
• Helping clients with leisure activities
• Ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and independence of clients
• Assisting and satisfying the social and emotional needs of a client
• Documenting and recording daily care reports which may include resident incident reports, restraint monitoring, and medication administration.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Physically fit (can be able to do lifting if necessary).
• Strong organizational skills while being able to maintain high standards under pressure
• Seeking of Part-time employment to Full-time employment.
• Ability to adapt to change and remain flexible
• Accustomed to working with and understanding the needs of various types of patients
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Ability to work well as an independent collaborator and as a team
• Ability to comply with standard policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
• With Manitoba Class 5, Driver’s License.
• Criminal check is a must.
