Plant Healthcare Technician / Gardener

We are currently seeking a full-time gardener to join our team. Starting hourly wage will be competitive and based on experience, we offer opportunities for pay increases and room for advancement.

You will enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, engaging in a diverse array of tasks related to horticulture and tree care from now until the end of October, with the potential for extension based on weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
● Perform tree fertilization (driving a pickup truck long distances to perform fertilization)
● Maintain flower beds (weeding, deadheading, transplanting, shrub pruning, mulching,
etc.)
● Assist with planting trees and shrubs
● Operate equipment such as gas hedge trimmers and leaf blowers

Requirements:
● Valid drivers’ licence and a copy of your current drivers abstract
● Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for full days
● Capability to lift up to 50lbs
● Must provide personal safety gear (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots),

Additional safety equipment is provided.

Assets:
● Experience driving trucks pulling trailers
● Proficiency with equipment like gas leaf blowers and hedge trimmers
● Knowledge of trees and plants
● Relevant work experience
