Shipping Supervisor-Nights

Exceldor Cooperative, an Award-Winning, long-standing company seeks a Shipping Supervisor-Nights to join our team at our Blumenort location! We are looking for someone who is ready for a new challenge and able to work a shift of 10pm to 6:30am Monday to Friday. This position reports directly to the Manager of Distribution.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 - 10 years of prior related work experience that includes managing people and working within shipping/distribution warehouses.
• Demonstrated skills in time management.
• Analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
• Demonstrated skills such as leadership, decision making & problem solving.
• Demonstrated skills in continuous quality & performance improvement, planning & organizing, and communication.
• Previous experience in Food Processing and Continuous Improvement is preferred.
• Class 1 Drivers License considered an asset.

Responsibilities:
• Managing productivity and cost control, while maximizing all resources within a safe work environment.
• Effectively leading a team.
• Maintaining and managing inventory and stock rotation information.
• Monitor, evaluate and implement shipping practices that ensure consistent quality while eliminating errors and waste.
• Monitoring and ensuring good product flow from the VRT machine to the cooler and freezer areas.
