Parts Desk/ Warehouse Associate

Shewfelt’s Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is currently seeking a Parts Desk/Warehouse Associate. If you like working in a challenging, yet rewarding work environment, then Shewfelt’s is the place for you!

Position Responsibilities
 Receive incoming shipments and process purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner
 Ensure accuracy and verify quality of received products
 Operate forklift; training provided
 Process customer orders via in person, phone and email inquiries
 Replenish and maintain showroom stock
 Organize and maintain inventory in warehouse and yard
 Answer incoming calls when required
 Complete water tests for pools and hot tubs
 Maintain cleanliness in shop and warehouse areas to improve overall efficiency of operations

Required Skills
 Ability to lift 50 lbs.
 Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) and general computer skills
 Good work and attendance record
 Strong oral and written communication skills
 Ability to keep organized and attention to detail
 Motivated self starter and ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
 Ability to interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner
 Ability to work as part of a team, yet able to work independently
 Plumbing and heating related knowledge considered an asset
