About us:
WD Contracting is a Winkler based company specialising in the installation and maintenance for a wide range of grain handling equipment. Operating year round we strive to provide the highest quality in equipment set-up and repair.

The role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and hardworking millwright to join our set-up crew. This role will require a high degree of problem solving and technical ability to work on an extremely wide range of equipment.

Responsibilities:
•Install, maintain and repair grain handling equipment including but not limited to air system, dryers, grain legs etc.
•Read and interpret schematics, diagrams and blueprints
•Some custom fabrication for equipment set-up and/or repair
•Safely perform all duties in an efficient and practical manner
•Ensure proper use of tools and equipment
•Working at heights while maintaining safe working practices
•Maintain a clean work area to ensure a high safety and production standard

•Some knowledge of grain handling equipment preferred

•Ability to work under pressure in all types of weather
•Able to work as a part of team
•Good problem solving skills
•Committed to learning and growing
•Physically capable of performing duties (bending, walking, lifting etc.)
•Mechanical aptitude and experience working with hand and power tools

•Pay based on experience and qualification

•Overtime after 80 hours (paid at time and a half)
