Customer service/wine making/cashier
Part time Friday & Saturday
Also a shift during the week
This position is a bit of everything pertaining to the wine store.
Must be able to MULTI TASK & lift 50lbs
Cashier, use of cash register to process daily cash, credit cards & debit transactions. Balancing at end of each working day. Learning to communicate efficiently with customers. To have knowledge of the products. To be able to interact with other… Teamwork.
Answering phones, taking orders, and getting them ready for pickup. Making bottling appointments.
Some clerical work, filling & renting rental equipment. Document the purchase of wine to be made in wine room, working on a website, getting familiar with the products and what is available in the store.
Making sure Products are stocked each day & priced.
When delivery arrives, making sure all products are accounted for & placed. Learning the process of making wine from fermentation to filtering. How to read the gravity hydrometer to know when wines are ready for the next stage. making sure all equipment is sanitized & stored properly. Making sure bottling room is ready for customer appointments.
Some dishwashing & sanitizing of equipment & on a daily base. Keeping the premises spotless and washing all the floors at the end of each day.
