Your days will include:
• Overseeing Accounts Receivable department
• Supporting Director of Accounting with general oversight of all finance teams
• Continuous improvement of internal controls and automated functions
• Banking Functions
• Lead month-end management meetings to ensure tasks are completed on time
• Month-end reporting and analysis
• Review and approve month-end interest and dividend payments and accruals
• Approval and Signing Authority Doc Administrator
• Visa credit card administrator
• External audit support
• Other duties as assigned
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• CPA Designation
• 5+ years in a management role
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, preferably based on ASPE
• Project management experience
• Ability to lead and motivate others in various locations and all levels of departments
• Advanced computer skills with accounting and Microsoft software
• Must be accurate, have super attention to detail, be organized and able to deal with unexpected events, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
