Barista - Casual

Sun Valley Co-op is recruiting for a new Barista at our Altona Gas Bar!

We have a portable coffee cart that we bring to special events to provide the same tasty drinks that you order in our Gas Bar Cafe and we are looking for staff to help run it!

This position would be responsible for:
-Providing excellent customer service
-Taking orders while paying attention to details
-Making high-quality coffee beverages (lattes, cappuccinos, americano, etc.) using an espresso machine
-Running our point of sale system

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, exceptional customer service, great communication, the ability to handle busy high-stress situations, and experience as a barista.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a barista.

This is a casual position. Hours will vary based on how many events the cart is booked for.
