Term position - Office administration and HR duties
Association for Community Living is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they can live full, productive and meaningful lives. Providing quality person centered support through our residential, individualized and community-based services. Our shift staffed homes provide individuals with a home and supports on a 24-hour, 7 day a week basis.
We are looking for dedicated and reliable support staff to provide respectful, high-quality support within the home setting and out in the community.
Duties will include:
Answering phone
Dealing with walk ins inquires
Conducting interviews and reference checks
Scheduling staff training
Maintaining personnel files
Completing required provincial documentation and emailing to appropriate departments
Must be proficient in excel and word
Assist in administration of benefits and pension
Completing documentation as required
Maintaining a clean office environment
Delivering and picking up paperwork
Compose formal letters

Scheduling and attending maintenance appointments at homes at the direction of the Executive Director.
Assist in scheduling and securing staff coverage as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
Clear criminal record and adult abuse registry check
Must have 2 years of demonstrated experience in an office environment and education and/or experience in human resource requirements.
Remuneration is dependent of education and experience.
