Small Engine Service Technician

Our Powersports location in Portage la Prairie is looking for an experienced small engine Technician to join our high performing service team. In this role, you will perform basic/complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned outdoor power equipment.

The wage range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00 / hour dependent on qualification and experience; also comes with performance incentive, employee purchase program. We are also committed to your growth and development and provide ongoing training opportunities.

Required Skills:
- A minimum of three + years’ experience working in a service technician role. Inboard and Outboard engines is considered an asset.
- Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of outdoor power equipment
- Knowledge of small engines and other mechanical, electrical and fluid systems
- Ability to use computer to support diagnostics
- Excellent problem-solving ability

Required Experience:
- Certificate of training in automotive or motor cycle red seal, plus 3 – 5 Years Experience
- Language of work: English
