PT Term Direct Support Staff Position Available

This position is approximately 40 hrs./biweekly with benefits.
Starting date: as soon as possible

The Gardens on Tenth is a non-profit organization provides housing, meals, activities, support, care and other services to seniors.

Position Overview

Provides respectful support, assists with all aspects of daily living, and performs other activities necessary to meet the personal needs of Tenants. The support staff maintains and promotes Tenant safety, comfort, privacy, dignity, and independence.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Follow each resident’s individualized care plan, which includes providing ADL care, medication administration, escorts & reminders, 24/7 safety & supervision, Documentation, planning or participating in group or 1/1 activities

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years old or older
• Experience in similar field is considered an asset, willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to work as a part of a collaborative team and with minimal supervision.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check and Adult Abuse
Registry Check as conditions of employment.
Must be willing to a work a variety of shifts including weekends and Statutory holidays
