Child Care Assistant

We are looking for a Child Care Assistant to join our team, in an indefinite term position. The position would commence July 2nd but could be as early as June 20th. We are looking for someone with knowledge of how a child care setting works and some experience in the field.

Eligible Candidates must:
-Possess knowledge and experience in curriculum and program development.
-Retain positive behavioral support strategies.
-Critical thinking and ability to learn
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
-Highly motivated to implement new programs and develop creative approaches.
-Basic understanding of child development.

In order to be hired for the position the candidate must be:
-Classified as a CCA or willing to obtain classification.
-Current First Aid and CPR Training
-Clear Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record Check
