File Maintenance/Customer Service Clerk

The successful candidate, under the direction of the Home Centre Manager, will possess strong work ethics, positive attitude and customer service as well as organizational skills, keeping in mind the responsibility to maintain a safe and healthy environment for themselves, their team and our members/customers. NOTE: Position is for 32-36 hours per week.

The File Maintenance Clerk has the core function of working closely with the Management Team as a member of our organization to provide customer service, ensure the overall accuracy and maintenance of the Hardware and Lumber price files and maintaining all receiving’s in our internal systems.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Data entry, verification and accuracy checks of information is the primary responsibility of this position;
  • Provide information, assistance and service to customers in a manner that promotes our commitment to Customer Experience;
  • Maintain inventory cycle count schedule, receiving of merchandise;
  • Perform Mi9 File Maintenance functions such as generating reports and reporting concerns, completing transfers, etc. in a timely manner.

  • Strong technology skills;
  • Ability to think and work “outside of the box”;
  • Highly motivated self starter, with the ability to work individually and as a contributing team member;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
