Assistant Manager (Mitchell)

We are currently hiring an Assistant Manager at our Gas Bar & C-Store located in Mitchell, Manitoba.

What you’ll do:

You will aid in the daily operations of the facility and report to the Gas Bar & C-Store Manager. You will assist in providing excellent customer service, product quality assurance, facility maintenance, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards through the appropriate supervision, training, and support of the employees.

Some main duties of the job include:

• Live our brand, “You’re at Home Here” by presenting a positive, collaborative, and professional image of the organization to all customers, visitors, suppliers, and team members.
• Exemplify our company values: People, Integrity, Excellence, and Responsibility.
• Assist the Manager with aspects of the Talent Management systems, which includes, but is not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, engagement, and succession of all staff.
• Assist in maintaining and exceeding the established standards for the conditions of the facility in or order to create a welcoming, friendly, and clean environment for our customers.
• Provide coverage to the Manager’s responsibilities in their absence.
• Provide coverage in Team Member duties as required.
