Local Class 1 Driver

Countryside Farms is an egg grading plant in the agri-food industry, where we purchase eggs from Local Manitoba egg farmers; then grade, package and market them to the consumer. Countryside Farms has been grading Locally produced eggs for more than three decades.

We are now accepting applications for Class 1 Local Driver. Full-Time and Term Positions available. Hours of work are Monday – Friday averaging 40-50 hours per week. Plus, limited hours required 1 weekend per month for deliveries and refer duties. You are home every evening! Wages are on an hourly basis.

Starting date for this position will be as soon as possible.

Duties may include but are not limited to:
• City deliveries (pallet deliveries to warehouses and stores), primarily
• Farm Pick-up, as needed
• Assist in loading and unloading trailer(s)
• Responsible for pre-trip inspections
• Lifting up to 50lbs

Applicants must have:
• Effective oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of the English language
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Reliable
• Willingness and flexibility to work overtime
• A valid Class 1 driver’s license
• Current Drivers Abstract
