Administrative Assistant (permanent, part-time position)

Pembina Valley Water Cooperative is Manitoba’s 3rd largest water utility which produces potable water for 14 municipalities throughout south central Manitoba. Three water treatment plants feed a distribution network across 9000 square kilometers providing water for over 60,000 people.

Working out of our Administration Office in Altona MB, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for the CEO and management staff within the organization.
The role requires interfacing with a variety of customers and vendors, operations and engineering staff, coordinating meetings, providing admin support, data entry, report generation, clerical functions as well as more complex corporate and confidential functions.

The successful candidate will:
• Be a dedicated professional with experience in a professional office environment.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a high level of organization.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate a resourceful and helpful attitude.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
• Demonstrate an aptitude of cooperation and teamwork; someone who is genuinely a helpful person.
• Experience/knowledge of board governance structures or municipal government considered an asset.
