Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented cashier to join our team at Essential Bazaar. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers upon their arrival at the store with a friendly demeanor.
• Confirm and determine the prices of items, services, and accurately compute the total amount owed using electronic cash registers or scanners.
• Process various forms of payment including cash, checks, credit cards, or automatic debits with precision.
• Wrap or bag purchased items for customers.
• Provide product details, service information, and promotional updates to customers as needed.
• Conduct end-of-shift reconciliations by calculating the total payments received and comparing them to total sales.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a cashier is not required but considered as an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Language: English and Pashto
