Technician

Technician to assist our Project Works Supervisor.
This position is responsible to the Project Works Supervisor and District Manager. Position is full time at 40 hours a week out of Baldur, MB, with some overtime as required. Salary is dependant on work experience and benefits package available.
Qualifications Essential: - Strong communication skills - Demonstrate competency with the Microsoft suite of programming. - Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintaining a consistent schedule and strong productivity. - Experience reading and understanding the section / township/ range, legal land description maps. - Ability to lift & carry up to 50 lbs. - Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. - Class 5 drivers license and able to drive for extended period. Assets: - Experience with GPS and survey equipment or willing to learn.
- Experience in the agriculture and conservation sector.
- Experience coordinating projects with landowners.
- Strong ability to take direction and learn to complete various projects on the landscape.
- Post secondary diploma / degree or equivalent work in agriculture or environment field.
