Clerk III (FT) - Cabri Farm Centre

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Will be responsible for assisting the Branch Manager with the operation of the
Branch, including staff supervision, scheduling, sales, customer services, inventories
and budgets.
• Provide a high level of customer service and sales of Building Material products,
Hardware, Chemical, C-Store and Dispensing Petroleum Products.
• Assist with customer service and sales of merchandise, stock shelves, coolers and
general housekeeping duties.
• Provide gas pump and propane service.
• Be knowledgeable about products and services offered by Pioneer Co-op, answering
questions, problem solving and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with receiving, pricing and displaying merchandise and deliveries as required.
• Pick and prepare customer orders, taking payments/ cash register operation,
receiving and invoicing, inventory counts and control processes.
• Operate a forklift as required with certification
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have strong supervision, leadership and communication skills. Previous retail
experience in Agro, Hardware, Gas Bar or Merchandising considered an asset.
Must be organized, detail oriented, efficient and able to work at a quick pace in a
busy team environment. Must enjoy working with people. As a condition of
employment must obtain TDG, WHMIS, Forklift & Propane Certificates as a
condition of employment. This position involves heavy lifting and requires a valid
class 5 Driver’s license or higher. This position is classified as Safety Sensitive
Position: therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol and Substance Policy.
Must be available for a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
