Preventative Maintenance Mechanic Technician

PhiBer is hiring a Preventative Maintenance Technician who can successfully:

•Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems
•Contact tradespersons for major repairs
•Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as paint booth maintenance, bake booth maintenance, compressor repairs and maintenance, preventative maintenance of mills and lathes and minor power tool repair
•Respond to requests from supervisor for repairs
•Perform daily inspections on the building systems, jibs, hoists, forklifts, machining equipment and others that require daily inspections and maintenance
•Provide general assistance to skilled trade persons such as machinists, welders, painters and assemblers
•Ensure that safety measures are in place in the establishment
•Perform other related duties as requested.
