Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent
Job Duties:
• Prepare feed rations and feed management
• Carry out breeding programs
• Detect and treat certain livestock health problems
• Provide calving assistance
• Vaccinate and tag calves
• Maintain livestock health and performance records
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Perform general farm duties
Working Hours: 40-50 hours per week, varying schedule and may be required to work evenings, weekends, and overtime on occasion.
Wage: $15.30/hour
Work Location: SE 3-45-2-W5, Alberta / Rural area/ Staff accommodation available
Employment Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary education is required
Work Experience: 2 years of cattle farming experience
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Overtime required; Outside work year round
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Feeding and watering systems
