Crop Inputs Retail Manager – Long Plain Terminal

We currently have an opportunity for a Crop Inputs Retail Manager to join our growing Alberta team. As Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of our Crop Inputs Retail including business plans and service offerings, management of operating and capital expenditures, customer marketing plans, supervision and leadership of staff and legal and regulatory compliance. With the ability to think creatively, you will execute sales and marketing tactics, develop new sales channels, and diversify our market share by uncovering opportunities within the industry. This candidate must have the ability to provide support, recommendations and operational execution for a variety of existing challenges and opportunities. Excellent critical, strategic and decision making competencies are a must in order to devise annual budget targets, and to prepare forecasts based on data trends, profits, and losses over a period of time.
What you'll need:
•3-5 years’ experience in agri-business marketing, sales and agronomy
•Minimum of 5 years’ in a management/leadership role
•Post-secondary training in agriculture, business administration or commerce (is an asset but not necessarily required)
•Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and people in a fast paced environment
•Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
•Strong general knowledge and experience in human resource management, sales & marketing, purchasing, finance and safety
•Outstanding marketing, sales and customer relationship skills
•Valid Class 5 driver’s license
