The Town of High River is seeking a Facility Operations Lead Hand to join our Parks & Recreation team. This position reports directly to the Parks & Facilities Supervisor and is responsible for the leadership needs pertaining to the facility operations at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex which include arenas, dry arenas, curling rink, concessions and the field house. This position will be responsible for the day to day operations of these facilities and required to be in the field and work alongside with the Facilities staff.
To prepare for this position, you will have a grade 12 education or equivalent combined with the Arena Level I & II Certificates and Ice Maintenance Certificate. In addition, you will have three years municipal Arena experience with one year of supervisory experience. Additional courses and or certifications relevant to this field is considered an asset.
