Invites applications for a
Seasonal Parks Operator
The Town of High River is looking for temporary, fulltime Seasonal Parks Operators to join our Community Services Department. The positions perform labor related duties and operates equipment with skills of a specialized nature relevant to Parks. The successful candidates will also be carrying out all daily operating procedures as well as operate all tools and equipment associated with the operation and maintenance of Town sports fields, open spaces and cemeteries.
We are recruiting for two (2) positions in total. The following are the details on the term of the positions:
May 1, 2017 with an end date of September 1, 2017;
To prepare for this position, you have the ability to operate light and medium duty vehicles and equipment. This position requires you to work well independently and as a team. The incumbents must possess a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License.
• Must be able to understand and comprehend oral & written instructions.
• Must possess a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License.
• Completed Grade 10.
• Physical strength and agility sufficient to perform the work of this position.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
